Nuno replaces Cooper as Nottingham Forest’s new manager

Nottingham Forest have appointed Nuno Espírito Santo as their new manager to replace Steve Cooper Premier League The club announced this on Wednesday.

Forest appointed the former Wolves And Tottenham Manager after he broke up with Cooper After a series of five defeats in six games, they slipped to 17th place in the table, five points above the relegation zone.

“Nuno joins the club on a two-and-a-half year contract and will take charge of his first game on Saturday when Forest take on Bournemouth at the City Ground,” the club said in a statement opinion.

“The new head coach will have his first training session with the team this morning as they prepare for the Premier League game on Saturday.”

The Portuguese coach spent four seasons at Wolves, helping them gain promotion to the Premier League in his first season there in 2018.

In June 2021, the former Porto player and coach then took over at Spurs, where he won his first three games as coach, but then saw his team lose five times in seven games before being replaced by Antonio Conte.

Espírito Santo was then appointed manager of Saudi Pro League Page Al-Ittihad and led them to their first league title in 14 years, but was sacked in November after five winless league games.
