Suikoden and Eiyuden Chronicle's father has died

Bad news has rocked the world of video games: Yoshitaka MurayamaJapanese game designer known for developing the Suikoden And Eiyuden Chonicledied on February 6th.

Murayama was hospitalized due to some complications due to a serious illness illness which he had been suffering from for some time.

The news was just published today, February 14, 2024, by Rabbit and Bear Studiosa development team founded by Murayama in March 2020 and is currently working on it Eiyuden Chonicle.

Directly below is the tweet published in these hours confirming the sad death of the Japanese author and developer.

“It is with childlike hearts and great sadness that we inform you of the death of Yoshitaka Murayama, author and founder of Rabbit & Bear Studios, who died on February 6th as a result of an illness that had tormented him at some point “we read in the company's official press release, signed by Junko Kawano, Junichi Murakami and Osamu Komuta.

“His work on the Eiyuden Chronicle story is complete and we are saddened that he cannot see the reaction of his fans. Now we must actually accept the sad reality, take responsibility for his dreams and publish the Eiyuden Chronicle around the world.”

Needless to say, in the comments to the post X/TwitterThe entire community of users who love Japanese role-playing games paid tribute to the late developer.

Also the editorial team of SpazioGames We extend our condolences to Yoshitaka Murayama's family and friends and thank him for his support in the video game industry and beyond.

Eiyuden Chronicle: Rising it was published about two years ago (Here is our review). Eiyuden Chronicle: One Hundred Heroes Instead, it will be distributed on consoles and PC sometime in 2024.

We remember that too Suikoden I & II HD Remasters has been officially postponed, I hope he doesn't skip the current year.
