Wilson, Plum, Young and Gray are all in the top 25 fantasy points so far this season. The Aces have a +250 point lead this season. Las Vegas became the third team, along with the 2019 Mystics and 2000 Comets, to outsell their opponents by at least 250 points in 16 games in a single season.

Lindsay Allen, Minnesota Lynx (3.1% in ESPN league roster): Allen’s playing time has increased significantly in the last six games. She was on fire, playing an average of 28.5 minutes per game and scoring 18 or more fantasy points four times. Jessica Shepherd missed the last seven games due to non-COVID illness and now Tiffany Mitchell will be out for the next few weeks due to a sprained left wrist. Allen has the perfect chance to step into the spotlight and shine even brighter. Don’t hesitate to pick them up if you need a guard.
Gabby Williams, Seattle Storm (28.3% in squad): Williams rejoins the Storm after making a deal last week, overcoming potential setbacks due to the WNBA’s new prioritization rule. Last season, she showcased her talent, averaging 7.5 points, 5.0 rebounds, 3.1 assists and 1.5 steals per game while shooting 44.4% of her shots from the field. Williams’ defensive ability is a valuable addition to the Storm, whose defense ranks at the bottom of the league. Although she spent the off-season playing for ASVEL in France, she managed to fulfill the league’s reporting duties. Williams’ impressive, versatile game and defensive prowess give the Storm a much-needed boost.
Tianna Hawkins, Washington mystic (4.9% in squad): Shakira Austin expected to be out for another week or two after a hip strain, and Elena Delle Donne recently injured his ankle. And then there’s Myisha Hines Allen, who is still restricted after returning from knee surgery. This allowed Hawkins to play more minutes. She has played 23 minutes or more in three consecutive games and scored 25 fantasy points in two of them.
DiJonai Carrington, Connecticut Sun (20.5% in the squad), Olivia Nelson-OdodaConnecticut Sun (6.5% on roster): Last week’s column also mentioned Carrington and Nelson-Ododa, but I’m shocked their squad ratings aren’t higher. Brionna Jones’ season-ending Achilles has forced the Sun to downsize the grid and position themselves Alyssa Thomas in the middle. This has opened up additional opportunities for Carrington and Nelson-Ododa. The Sun is a team to behold in fantasy basketball games. Connecticut ranks third in offensive standings and third in defensive standings. Carrington has scored 28 or more fantasy points in three of their last four games. Because Nelson-Ododa has scored 18 or more fantasy points in three of the last four games she has played. If they are available in your league, don’t overlook them.
